Student tells Southern Lehigh board: 'Math is boring' and asks for faster-paced classes

Alan, who identified himself at the lectern as a student, told the board that math in his class is too easy and that he would like to move at a faster pace or be placed in enrichment work. "I'm really good at math... I even get over a 100% because I get extra credit," he said, and asked the board to "please pick one that let me be in a math class that moves faster."
