Charlie Krebs, the district engineer, told the Board the submittal package for Pelican Sound gatehouse renovations and signage is ready for the Village of Estero but cannot be filed until Bowman issues contractor checks; staff attributed the delay to the Memorial Day holiday and month‑end processing. Krebs said SFWMD approval for drainage repairs was received and a virtual pre‑construction meeting with SFWMD and Village officials is scheduled for June 1, 2026.
