Senate joint committees convene, pass measures and adjourn
The joint Senate committees convened April 7, passed two sets of resolutions (on Makahilo Drive and on federal SOGI protections), and adjourned after reporting the measures out of committee.

The chair convened the joint committees in Room 224 on April 7 and outlined five-minute logistics and testimony time limits before moving through the agenda. After taking public testimony and hearing brief discussion, the chairs recommended reporting out SCR 132 and SR 124, then SCR 11 and SR 9; both recommendations were adopted by voice vote and the chair adjourned the committees.
