As an addendum to the agenda, trustees discussed nominees for the Harris County Appraisal District board and how CFISD would allocate its voting strength. After debate about vote allocation the board amended its nomination and split CFISD's 295 votes: 148 for Mike Sullivan and 147 for Martina Lamon Dixon. The amended nomination was approved (the motion passed by recorded vote as noted in the minutes).
