Susan Balman, who said she has "stage 3 ovarian cancer," appeared and explained she intended to move a mobile home onto 5525 Fort Sumter Road to live near family who will assist with caregiving. Codes staff and the chair reviewed the property and concluded the existing structure is an accessory structure and that the applicant could pursue placement of one dwelling unit without a variance.
