County staff reported ongoing work with consultant Kimley‑Horn on the Northern Accomack Utility Master Plan and said final content is being mapped ahead of a Nov. 4 work session. Staff added that the contract with Chesapeake Utilities to begin feasibility and potential design work on natural gas service in the area has been finalized, though substantive activities had not yet started.
