TNP engineer briefs Copper Canyon on five-year stormwater (MS4) program

Mandy Clark of engineering firm TNP told the Copper Canyon Town Council on July 28 that the town is required to participate in the Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TCEQ99s MS4 program) as part of the Denton-Lewisville urbanized area and must implement a five-year stormwater management program. Clark said TNP filed a Notice of Intent in January and the town is operating as if the permit is active while awaiting formal approval.
