At their Aug. 20 meeting Portage County commissioners directed the auditor's office to process bills, ACH payments, wires and journal vouchers for Aug. 20 contingent on the auditor's verification, citing Ohio Revised Code §305.30(k). The board also approved the 08/20/2026 budget amendments as recommended by the department of budget and financial management.
