At the meeting the board recorded several routine approvals: approval of the Aug. 10 minutes, approval of claims, and approval of drainage plans for the Deaconess Cancer Center and a new Newberg Goodwill, all by recorded voice votes of 3-0. A committee member moved each action and votes were recorded as 'Motion carries 3 0.'
