Director Maria Turner told the commission that code enforcement officer Wes Nelson has accepted a position with the state Office of Housing and Community Development and wished him well. Turner said Nelson will continue to work on some Lake County items through his new role and that staff is coordinating with the administrative office about posting a grant‑funded vacancy.
