Project Review Board gives preliminary approval to Fox Ridge 8‑lot subdivision

The Freeport Project Review Board on Aug. 19 gave preliminary approval to the Fox Ridge subdivision, a proposed eight‑lot open‑space development off Beach Hill Road. Staff said the overall parcel is roughly 90 acres, with about 20 acres proposed for development and an open‑space requirement of about 11 acres; the application included additional road cross‑sections and homeowner association documents. "In the preliminary application they've submitted additional road details, cross sections, and details, indicating it looks like it'll meet the subdivision ordinance requirements for a private road," Kyle (staff member) said.
