Council moves to close RV dump, schedules public hearing for Aug. 24
After WWTP problems, the council agreed to proceed with closing the RV dump and set a public hearing for Aug. 24 to notify residents. CLG Park will remain closed while staff investigates whether the RV dump or a SCAT machine is causing WWTP failures.

Mayor Dwayne Paris told the council the city will move forward with closing the RV dump because of ongoing problems at the wastewater treatment plant. "The decision to close the RV Dump will move forward," the minutes state; the council indicated a public hearing will be scheduled to notify residents and gather comment.
