Public Works reports progress on Savannah Trail; boardwalk replaced by elevated sidewalk design

Public Works told council the Savannah Trail construction has begun with the first concrete section poured; the department proposed replacing a costly boardwalk with an elevated-style sidewalk using structural soil to protect trees and reduce costs, and staff expects cost-savings pending final numbers.
