Commission OKs private pickleball facility with conditions after community support

Felicia Daniels, a fourth‑generation owner who said she wants to keep most of the family’s 18.9‑acre property in the Green Belt, asked the commission to allow a private pickleball facility on a small portion of her land. “This property means much more to me than simply being a piece of land,” Daniels told the commission, adding that she expects the facility’s footprint could be built within about 3 acres and that the structure would be designed to blend in like “a barn.”
