Planning commission votes 4–2 to recommend changing how waterfront building height is measured
The City of Sebastian Planning & Zoning Commission recommended that City Council amend Land Development Code section 54-2-5.10 to measure building height in the Commercial Waterfront Residential district to the mean between eaves and ridge, a change intended to accommodate required pitched roofs without adding floors.

The City of Sebastian Planning and Zoning Commission voted 4–2 on Aug. 20 to recommend that City Council amend the Land Development Code definition of building height for the Commercial Waterfront Residential (CWR) district subject to the Riverfront Overlay.
