At its Oct. 6 meeting the Thomas County Board of Commissioners appointed Kimme Simmons to the Thomas County Visitors Committee to fill a vacancy left by Bob Broweleit. Commissioner Charles Daly moved to appoint Simmons and the motion carried unanimously.
