TREC to take over broker-instructor training; first session set for Sept. 23
Agency staff said TREC will assume administration of legal and broker-responsibility instructor trainings previously run by the Real Estate Center at A&M, with dates secured from Sept. 23 through Dec. 5 and a registration website launching within one to two weeks.

Committee member Paul asked whether the broker-responsibility and legal 1 and 2 instructor trainings previously administered by the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M would be scheduled now that the agency is taking over that administration. An agency official said TREC has taken over the administrative portion, will launch a website specifically for training registrations within one to two weeks, and has secured dates: “Our first date is September 23” and the last date is Dec. 5.
