SCRAP Gallery: local environmental art program partnering with Cathedral City
SCRAP Gallery, an environmental art museum and mobile education program, has worked with Cathedral City schools for years and moved its base to the city about a decade ago, Executive Director Karen Riley said. The gallery provides free materials and supports student art projects.

Conrad Angel Corral introduced SCRAP Gallery and asked about its history and mission; he described it as the only gallery of its kind in Riverside County that delivers art and environmental education to youth. "SCRAP Gallery, which stands for Student Creative Recycle Art Grama, is an environmental art museum and mobile program that delivers art and environmental education to youth throughout the Coachella Valley," Corral said.
