The Board of Trustees of the Cleveland Independent School District voted 4–0 to approve the district’s 2026–2027 compensation plan during a special meeting on July 27, 2026. Trustee Jennifer Peña made the motion to support the superintendent’s recommendation; Trustee Aaron Montesnieto seconded the motion.
