The Coffey County Commission designated Oct. 12–17, 2026 as the county’s Fall Clean-up Week and instructed the County Clerk to publish notice of the event. Commissioner Michael Abendroth moved the designation based on a recommendation from the Road and Bridge Superintendent; Commissioner Steve McCurry seconded and the motion passed.
