The Board of County Commissioners opened a liquor‑licensing public hearing for a special‑event liquor permit for Eli's Legacy and heard from liquor licensing clerk Kaylee Manring, who said staff received an application for an event on Nov. 11 from 3 to 6 p.m. and had received no public comments. "This is a new special event, and we have received no comments or concerns and staff recommends approval," Manring said.
