During the Meeker Public Works Authority meeting immediately following the Board session, staff described ongoing communication issues and inconsistent customer directions from the current trash provider (Central Disposal/GFL). The Authority reviewed a proposed agreement with Eastside Waste that included comparable or lower rates, a 12-month term with automatic renewal, a 90-day notice of non-renewal, appropriate liability insurance and the ability to service the sewer plant roll-off dumpster.
