Conference committee delays HB 1972 tax measure until Wednesday
Members of the joint conference committee said they have agreement on HB 1972's content but lacked a finance release and agreed to reconvene Wednesday to finalize the taxation measure.

Lisa Martin opened the conference meeting and announced the first measure under consideration, saying the measure was HB 19 72, HD 2, SD 1, "relating to taxation." She told conferees, "we have agreement on the content, but we do not yet have an appropriate release for finance," and asked to roll the item to Wednesday at the same time and place.
