Mr. Oliver, speaking for city staff, asked the council to declare certain city-owned items surplus because they are no longer needed for operations. He said the items will be posted for auction in accordance with city policies, and bidders can access the auction online at www.gvdealss.com. "They've been identified and they are no longer needed for city operations," he said.
