Commissioners adopt purchasing guidelines for park fee line item
The board approved resolution 24-013 to let parks staff use a designated line item funded by camping fees for park purchases while following the county purchasing act; the vote was unanimous.

Commissioner Jane Richardson moved and the board approved a change giving Hall County Parks designated authority to spend a portion of camping fees from a dedicated line item on park needs, so long as purchases follow the county purchasing policy. "I'll make the motion that they follow the purchasing guidelines," Richardson said. The board debated whether to require approvals at $500 or $10,000 thresholds and settled on mirroring the county purchasing act.
