Jennifer Berky, District 3 director for Michigan State University Extension, told the board she was seeking approval of the 2026 memorandum of agreement to continue MSU Extension services in Leelanau County. Berky said the funding requested was included in the board‑approved 2026 budget and covers the office's program and administrative needs.
