Several time‑sensitive authorizations were approved at the committee. Director Alasi asked the committee to authorize submitting a Sun River Health grant application before it must go to the full board; members agreed the application should be submitted and the full board will accept any award later. "We can vote if we get the grant then we can vote to accept it," Alasi said when discussing the timing constraints.
