The committee agreed to create an ad hoc subcommittee to work with staff, the general manager and finance on an updated CIP that prioritizes health-and-safety projects for the next budget cycle and develops a multi-year capital plan. Chair formally appointed members to the subcommittee and described the group's near-term task: reconcile the department's urgent needs identified during the station tour with the existing CIP list and produce budget-ready recommendations.
