Jason Walter, a member of the community who addressed the board during the public-comment period, told trustees he had identified multiple problems in the district—career-and-technical-education (CTE) programs and urged immediate action. He said welding equipment remains unusable, Perkins and other purchase-grant money are not being spent correctly, and the district is not configuring CTE pathways to secure full funding.
