Senator Borah told the Committee of the Whole he would withdraw his pending amendment after consulting with other board members, saying, "I'm just going to withdraw this amendment at this time, mister chair." The Chair then called for objections to the motion to withdraw and, hearing none, announced the amendment had been removed.
