Trust members heard a set of South Dade updates including the shared‑use trail, project schedule changes and early planning for Transitway SW 344. Staff said the trail program recently resumed after a four‑month pause to revise scope and is now at about 60% completion; cost reductions were achieved by focusing landscaping in key nodes, micro‑seeding in other areas and preserving existing trees where feasible.
