The Wythe County Board of Supervisors on March 24 adopted County Resolution 2026-04 celebrating the Rural Retreat High School wrestling team’s state championship win on Feb. 21, 2026, at the Salem Civic Center. The resolution recognizes the team’s 216-team score and the program’s fifth state title.
