Stephens County commissioners unanimously approved a rezoning request from Verbina Roots Properties Inc. to change two parcels (Memorial Drive and Metobrook Drive) from agricultural residential to residential single. Proponent Hugh Champion said soil tests and the allowance to break the property at 100 feet from the road provide greater subdivision options.
