GPAC moved and approved a motion encouraging the Board of Supervisors to adopt the concept of planned mixed‑use (shared residential and commercial uses) and to support infill and conversion of existing commercial buildings to housing where appropriate. The motion specifically asked that mixed‑use be considered both for new planned developments and as an option in existing commercial areas within community growth boundaries.
