Trustees discussed the recent overhaul of the court clerk function and the need for consultant support during the transition. The chair said consultant Kathy Costello performed 23.5 hours of work in June (at $50 per hour, totaling about $1,175) and recommended authorizing an additional eight hours ($400) to complete training; the board moved, seconded and authorized the mayor to approve the payment and budget for the extra time.
