Board approves second reading of eight policy revisions
On second reading the Cheatham County Board of Education approved revisions to eight district policies covering alcohol and drugs in the workplace, revenues, personnel records, sick leave, drug testing, political activities, tutoring for pay, and the Director of Schools.

The board approved revisions to eight policies on second reading during the June 4 meeting. The motion to approve policy revisions (items 14.A.1–14.A.8) was made by Chairman David Risner and seconded by John Patrick; the motion passed unanimously.
