The USD No. 448 Board approved adding a Volunteer Chaplain position after Superintendent Stephen Jowers told the board that the State of Kansas permits public school districts to have volunteer chaplains on staff. Josiah Wuerffel moved to add the position; the motion was seconded by Darren Johnson and carried 4-0.
