Council amends chicken ordinance to require coops and runs
During a discussion of Draft Ordinance #400, the council approved an amendment adding language so chicken enclosures include runs as well as coops; motion passed 4-0.

Council member Kolby Lay proposed adding explicit language to Draft Ordinance #400, section 17, so that chicken containment requirements cover both coops and runs. Lay moved to pass the ordinance with the suggested verbiage change; Sharon Hoyt seconded and the motion passed 4-0.
