Dallas County certifies recanvas after one-vote correction; outcome unchanged
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution to certify a corrected recanvas after the elections office found a one-ballot discrepancy. Elections Administrator Emily Reedurn said the change altered records but did not change the apparent winner.

Emily Reedurn, the Dallas County Elections Administrator, told the board on March 23 that an administrative recount of a recent local contest identified a counting discrepancy and that the office would correct the official canvas.
