Commission approves Amendment #5 to county group health plan adding Valenz Health
The board unanimously approved Amendment #5 to Group Health Plan #18152 to update the procedure precertification list and replace a provider name (KISx) with Valenz Health; the change was presented by County Administrator Bryan Aasheim.

The Candler County Board of Commissioners approved Amendment #5 to Group Health Plan #18152 during its July 20 meeting. County Administrator Bryan Aasheim presented the amendment, which replaces the Keep It Simple Surgery (KISx) program benefit with a Valenz Health benefit and updates the plan’s precertification and prenotification lists (Exhibit B). Vice‑Chairman Blake Hendrix moved to approve the amendment; Commissioner Tre’ Ross seconded and the board voted 5-0.
