CCRPC begins Metropolitan Transportation Plan update; TAC members named to LRPC

B. Davis (Chair) told the committee the CCRPC will begin updating the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) this fall and provided an overview of the plan's role, legal requirements, and schedule. "The MTP is the region’s principal long-range transportation plan that sets the regional transportation vision and goals, must be updated every five years, and is a fiscally constrained document," B. Davis said, and he noted federal regulations (23 CFR 450.324(f)) set required content.
