Trustee Manning moved, and Trustee Johnson seconded, authorizing Village staff to explore a joint road and utility project with the Village of Caledonia at 4½ Mile Road that would serve as an emergency water connection point; the motion carried 7-0-0. The action is a study and intergovernmental outreach directive; no agreements or funding commitments were approved at the Sept. 10 meeting.
