Road & Bridge reports miles completed and flags contractor performance concerns
Road & Bridge reported 4.5 miles in progress and large mileage completed this year; staff said an earlier contractor (HV Caver) has not returned to finish contracted work and the department is documenting nonperformance.

Mr. Davis, speaking for Road & Bridge, gave the department's construction update and mileages: "as of August 9th we have 4.5 miles in progress and 20235 Miles have been completed this year already." He described where chip-seal crews are working (Oldtown, Noonday, James Marshall, Macedonia) and noted a water-line leak on Oldtown Road that will require utility repair before final surfacing.
