Commissioners approve 10-year conditional-use permit for wood‑processing and composting facility

At a public hearing, the board approved a 10‑year conditional‑use permit for a proposed wood resources and composting facility applied for by Andrew Wachesky. The county planner described the site visit and said the applicant had refabricated an existing building at the site and cleaned the lot. "I think it's well that we go ahead and grant him a conditional use permit for this business," the planner told commissioners.
