The Cusseta–Chattahoochee County Commission voted unanimously on Nov. 4 to end its contract with the FT Benning stray facility after commissioners said the county could not meet the contract requirements. Commissioner Gerald Douglas moved to end the contract; Commissioner Jason Frost seconded, and the motion carried on a unanimous vote.
