The Gilbert City Council on March 2 adopted Resolution 2026-03-01 approving a contract agreement for use and support of a solid waste reclamation, recycling and disposal system with the City of Ames. The resolution was moved by Councilmember Shaon Anderson and seconded by Councilmember Brent Randolph; the roll call vote was recorded as aye — Anderson, Mahoney, Randolph, Rydl, Wilson; nay — none; absent — none.
