The board adopted an updated Todd County data practices policy to align with Minnesota Statute chapter 13 and approved a website update that allows the county to require prepayment of estimated staff time and copying costs for complex public data requests.

Todd County adopted an updated data practices policy intended to align county procedure with the Minnesota Department of Administration model and Minnesota Statute chapter 13, the county coordinator said. The policy and an attached resolution were recommended by the county’s policy committee and reviewed by county attorney Lindeman.
