The Calumet County Planning, Zoning & Farmland Preservation Committee held a public hearing Oct. 8 on proposed text amendments to Chapter 82 of the Calumet County Zoning Ordinance and voted to forward the changes to the County Board with a recommendation of acceptance. Staff member Meuer said the amendments "are designed to address inconsistencies in the zoning ordinance for how certain uses are regulated," with a focus on clearer definitions, updates to the "use not listed" provisions, and minor changes to Light Industrial and Industrial district purpose statements.
