The council voted unanimously to adopt Ordinance 03‑2026, updating Chapter 6 to reference the 2024 International Code Council books and adopt by reference the 2024 Low Energy Carbon Code (LEC) with regional amendments and the 2025 Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code. Planning staff described an extensive regional code cohort process, training for the building community and a package of local amendments designed to align code updates with community climate goals.
