The Butte County Planning Commission rejected a final plat for R RANCH LAND, LLC after a 2–2 roll-call split at its Sept. 8, 2026 meeting in Belle Fourche. Attorney Eric Neis presented agreed-upon revisions to the subdivision covenants and a well-water agreement for the revised Lot 1 of the Eaton Subdivision, owner Ron Floyd.
